ACCOMMODATION:

Twenty-four beautifully appointed sumptuously decorated en-suite bedrooms. The interior décor uses masculine colours, print and textures without compromising on comfort to reflect a modern castle with traditional foundations. Custom-made wrought iron work for the chandeliers and balustrades around the hotel is reminiscent of a more romantic age.

The Castle Kyalami's hotel rooms are spared the musty old smell of European fortresses by having ozone air purifiers and deodorisers. This new technology uses natural atom chemistry to clean air in a room to a pure and natural healthy one, smelling of fresh rainwater.

State of the art conference kitchens and lighting equipment stand side by side with the traditional values of the service of hand picked staff. And although old-fashioned candlelight is always available to romanticise any occasion, the powerful generators in place at The Castle Kyalami can support the hotel, all the conference venues and the lit driveway all the way down to the gate, during a power cut.

Why is The Castle so different insofar as its conference facilities are concerned? Because it is so versatile and flexible. We can cater for a finger supper for five to a banquet for 500 or more. Venues include the Private dining room that caters for 12 people and is situated off the Bastion restaurant (main dining room). The Cellar houses the Castle's prestige wine collection ranging from rare South African wines to aged French wines.

The Bailey can accommodate up to 160 people and can also be sub-divided into the Bailey 1, Bailey 2, Bailey 3 and the Bailey 4. The original Stables have been converted to a superb conference and function venue and can seat more than 600 people.
